Just got back from a week long "Winter in Yellowstone" photo workshop. When we got back to our cars there was 4 or 5 inches of snow on them.

During the previous year's workshop it snowed so much that the park closed the road and when they finally got back to their cars they had five feet of snow on them. Took them all day to dig them out.

Happy to say that after a week in the snow and temps in the teens she started right up. And love that AWD.

Being from Southern California, this is the first time since I bought the car that I actually used the heated seats and heated steering wheel. Both work great.

Power sledding at the cabin in South Lake Tahoe. When it snows several feet (which it did over Christmas) and the plow does not come around for several days, the kids like to go "Power Sledding" around the neighborhood.

I thought i Effed my 4wd. I got stuck again in a ice pile. I engaged 4wd with wheels turned and and made a clunk noise and service 4wd light came on. i ended freeing myself the old fashioned way of Rocking back and forth and the new trick i learned of disabling stability and trac control. Once i got on level ground, i shut the truck off for a few minutes and looked under for anything that was broken. Everything looked good and restarted the truck. Message went away and 4wd was working again.

Lol that snow was great, at Christmas when the snow was insane I strapped the wakeboard rope to the trailer ball and had someone drive me around while I was on my snowboard

I remember that storm here in Rhode Island. Here's my 97 Tahoe with the 7 1/2' Fisher plow that I moved all that snow with.

Now that I posted that picture, it dawned on me that there aren't many pictures on this forum of people plowing with their Tahoes.

Rather odd with the versatility of these vehicles. I'll have to post some pics of the newer LTZ with a full sized plow attached.
