A little before and after. And yeah this adhesive is rediculous, it was easier getting tghe moldings off than this little guy.

I removed mine a while back.

The adhesive is not "normal" type stuff. I think it is more of the kind used to hold the rear view mirror on.

I did NOT steel wool mine. Elbow grease and cleaner wax.

metalemt beat me with the pictures. I just washed my Tahoe in violation of a temporary Lubbock, TX wash ban (yeah, I'm big on breaking the law! :Big Laugh: ) and took an "after" picture to show how much nicer the rear window looks.

Hey, GM, would you people fix the UGLY problems you keep dumping on us? :emotions122:

That little piece of plastic slapped on the rear window for no good reason appears to have a list price of $51.12. Someone tell me I'm nuts. :insane:

A little late, but I took mine off and had a tough time getting the adhesive off... I used some wax and quite a few paper towels

Its there to stop you from putting fingerprints on the glass everytime you close it.
But i never open it so mine was gone a long time ago with no scratches.

I only open the glass when cleaning everything around it. I think I'll be taking mine off too.
