Wanted Yukon above license plate Applique

I have an 08 White tahoe, and I want to delete the Billet Bow tie on my applique, but I am hoping to find a GMC Yukon applique and would be awesome if it was matching colors, but I can also get a new on from GM for 72.00 plus shipping but if I can find one for less thats a plus. But just has to have no cracks in the mounting areas.

Why not just remove the bowtie, so far as I know it's just adhered on with double sided tape.

Mmm maybe I'm wrong I'm not sure ... I remember getting some black ones that had two little bolts on the back of them. In which case disregard the stupid above.

There are two alignment holes for the bowtie...he would have to fill the holes to make it smooth. Yukon applique would be easier

Yeah, but I've heard those things are a huge pita to take out.
I'm also guessing the $72 is the one without the rear view camera.

Yeah I went to the dealer and got an estimate and it was like 275 to fill the holes and paint my existing panel. But the dealer said a lot of the time they are broken in the process of removing them to do the work. He was also shocked that the dealer price for a replacement applique was way higher than gm parts direct, he had to look it up for himself....but yes there are holes under the bow tie, I wish it was just double sided tape or adhesive...

thanks for the info though. Theres several on Ebay but just not the color I am looking for. I will have to be patient..

The GM applique is slightly shaped differently but I hope it will still bolt in place the same.

It will definitely bolt in the same place. red02chevy and BlackedOutLT3 both have the yukon appliqué on their Tahoe's... it looks GREAT.
