Hi Serge,

Yup, that's definitely plan B, trying to see if any forum members have one for cheaper. :)

Also, by the way I ordered a burl wood steering wheel from a company called autowoods, cant wait till it gets here on monday!
It looks like this, except I will be keeping the OEM brushed metal spokes.

Very cool.

Weird though, my steering wheel spokes are black on my truck.

Careful with that airbag bud.

Mine were too, swap them to the silver ones it's way better! And the air bag is alot easier than you think to remove and reattach. It sounds scary but once you do it, its a piece of cake!

Pete you probably will not be able to find that cup holder used. Most people who have them don't want to get rid of them.
I just ordered one two weeks ago. After like 2 hours of constant searching the cheapest I found it was $149 shipped from www.gmpartscenter.net
Part number is the 25912889

don't be afraid of the air bag it is not going to go off we pull air bags all the time. All you need is two picks to push the release on each side it take about 1 min to remove

My 08 Tahoe LTZ ones were black too and I switched em over. I know either in '09 or '10 they switched over the LTZ's to the brushed aluminum. It's definitely a huge upgrade and drastically improves the look of the steering wheel :Handshake:

I didn't know that Felix ...

However Pete's HyHoe is the same model year as mine ... that's why I was wondering why our steering wheel spokes would be different.

My only guess would be half way through the year they changed em? They did that on the 08 Tahoe LTZ's with the side moulding changed to the ones with the ribbed/chrome trim versus the ones that came stock on mine that were pure ugliness. Along with the changes to the LTZ in 09 were the chrome tow hooks, center channel speaker for Bose, and chrome tip on the steering column thingy.

Hi,

Did you ever happen to find one of these?

We just took delivery of a 2011 LTZ, and had all of the woodgrain pieces removed.

I would consider selling them individually, but the dealer may have someone that wants to upgrade a vehicle to this.

I should know by the end of the week.

Thanks, Gary.
