headrest removal

howdy
1st post
how do i remove the headrest from 2011 yukon 2nd row captians chairs . tryin to put seat covers on ,the front were a piece of cake , the 2nd row don't have a release button . now what i've read how easy it's supposed to be ,called dealer he said ya can't remove em .i find that kinda hard to believe . any clues ?

Small hole, need something small like a paper clip

Thats how the front seats come out not sure on the back

i got the front ones out , the 2nd row are not the same kinda release . you gotta put an eyeball on to see what i mean . it's not the same . got brandy new snow camo seat duds and can't put em on !

I tinkered with mine a bit and didn't find a way to get them off. Post up if you figure it out!

i ainnnnn't quite ready to start squeezin little fellers under head rest in my brand new truck .......yet. maybe tomorow tho . i thought for sure someone here would know how ,there is a lot of knowledg on this fine site

Without running outside between raindrops in the dark - are there not two small holes (like the ones for the front seats) for the second row headrest? I believe you need two paperclips or small screwdrivers - one on each side, for the back seat headrest as the release button is different then it is up front.

If no one else chimes in tonight, I can check tomorrow when I find a free moment, but I believe you are looking for two small holes to release each of the back seat headrests.

by george i think i have it . you are correct about the little holes . there are two on the back ones , stiff paperclip and off the came ......... now i will go get new glasses ..... thanks so verry much for the help .
