i have used this in the past but never did anything with it since i sent it in to hypertech for upgrading. honestly i misplaced it in my tool box and have no use for it as of now. has all the manuals, cables, and original box. i used it on my 01 suburban 5,3 but i know it works on a host of gm trucks. asking $150 net to me shipped in the 48 states or best offer. need to get rid of this asap, need cash for my other hobby

the price includes shipping to anywhere in the 48 states. i had a problem with my truck a while ago and had to reinstall the factory tune while it was under warr. when i got the truck back i just never reinstalled the tune because i forgot about it. i now have BB tune because i installed e fans and thats one way to get them turned on. it did show i difference and i used it to adjust my speedo being off because of my 22s

and the box says 4.8L so yes it will work. you can call hypertech or check the website.

The Hypertech Programmer is Year Specific... So the Programmer for a 2001 will not work on a 2004. I have one as well for a 2002 and was going to give it to dwmmatt23 when I traded him my lift and it would not allow it to program, etc. because his was a different year Tahoe.

For your 2004, you need a 2004 specific Hand Held Tuner.

it may work on 01-02, but there was changes in 03-06.

So this unit is not locked to you VIN? I may be interested since I have an 01 and DaRosa and I went through this before with his so being yours is for an 01 as well would work this time

i dont know how it gets vin locked? i sent it to hypertech and they did the upgrade because of a glitch it had when i tried to retune my truck. it came back and it was updated and they said it was like new. i havent installed it in my truck since. is there any way i can check??

Whats your price now? Ive been looking for another, I have an 02 tahoe with a 5.3 will it work? Is it vin locked? Vin locked is when your tune your vechile that programmer is vin locked to that vechile from there on it will not work on any other vechile unless the orginal vechile the tune was installed on was reset to factory Or the progammer is sent it to be reset.

I am defintely interested in it, if you still have the vechile you orginally programmed it too, you can just plug it in and check and if the tune is still installed reset to facotry. Please let me know somein thanks

it hasnt been installed on any vehicle since it went back too hypertech for reset. my batt died half way through the programming so i had to send it back and get a new ecm. the hypertech website shows a new part number for the programmer, but its the same pasrt number for 01-02. guess i'll have to wait and call hypertech monday. unless some one with an 01 wants it

looks like 02 use 30012, i have 30023. guess not bro. unless i call hypertech monday
