the SLP effort looks like a "me too...oh wait" type of deal:

they use a 3 inch inlet, but a truck muffler, with dual outs.
it just LOOKs restrictive. (all their stuff is under YUKON)

$599.95

I like the Borla, but the $$ is not feeling the Obama-conomy. The over the Axle space must be small, because they use dual 2 inches out of the muffler.
$959

this is the only 3 inch I have found with a large enough muffler to be quiet:
$400

does this Forum get a Summit Forum discount? saw someone mention it on another forum, just wondering if anyone knows about it?

you have read about the noise issues created by after market ones due to the AFM system right?

When your GMT900 kicks from 4 to 8 and vice versa, i'm reading some people are not happy w/the noises from after market stuff...

JUST SAYING! buy what you want, but I'm keeping mine stock...

eh, most of the posts I found on it said they could not tell. these guys said not to worry about it:

FWIW, i could see that being a problem on a "bullit" or straight thru glass pack, but a big body muffler should not do it, ???

and that's another reason to stay cheap. that way, you can peel it off & resell it if you aint' happy.

when in fact kinda the opposite is true...spend more for a better quality system and the 4 cyl to 8 cyl change is almost unnoticeable... the main people complaining about it are those that bought "cheaper" systems

I have Corsa sport cat back but if you want a little more mellow you should look into the Corsa Touring

I have also heard of people just swapping out the mufflers and doing a resonator delete. stock piping is large enough so no real performance gain is made with a full cat back system
