[SOLVED] Continuing the Mystery of a 2003 Tahoe with electrical issues

I forgot to add prior, but the driver's side headlight is very dim... much dimmer than the passenger side headlight.

Hi beam? Lo beam? Both?

likely have some time tomorrow and start tracing from that headlight back. It’s odd though that the AC also causes the reduced power. I was hoping they’d share a circuit.

Inspect and clean G104 yet?

Headlamps and AC clutch and TAC share that ground point.

Which one is G104? Drivers side engine block? I’ve done that one but might get in there and do it again.

when I had a my gmt800 I ended up grounding the headlight circuit right to the frame under the lights (both sides), solved a flickering problem I had.
it's only 3 wires, low/high/ground. Headlights are normally grounded so doesn't hurt anything.

That was it! G104 was disconnected by prior owner and got it done. Problem solved! You guys are awesome!

Correct the prior owner swapped the trans and didn’t bolt back this ground. Think it had intermittent weak ground sitting on the block but that ground was the one.
