My dealer suggested I wait till end of Aug to place my '26 Denali order. He thinks there will be more info available then despite some of it available now. I also gave him something off the internet that stated a dealer may be able to delete certain items off the packages for a 2026, in my case the sun roof and the rear entertainment. Prior to that he thought no way he could do this. But now with a preorder and the info I gave him he is going to recheck the possibility. I really don't want to pay for things I don't want or won't use. Back in the day of course we could do this but now GM packages seem overly restrictive - take it or choose another "package", and then you will have the same issue. Very inflexible.
I placed my 2026 Yukon Denali order around Aug 15. Listed as preliminary accepted. There are a lot of packages/ options that are not available yet.

from a post a while back on another site ..............

When you place an order with a dealer, the status is 1100, PRELIMINARY ORDER ACCEPTED. UNTIL GMAD ACCEPTS the order, it just sits there at 1100. You don't have an order with GM at this point. You only have a dealer requesting an allocation for a slot in the production schedule. Dealer Allocation is simple to understand - GM Dealers are awarded allocation based on past performance, as well as other factors. If you are sitting at 1100 you are not in line yet for production. Your dealer MUST get GM to accept the order. When GM accepts the order, all the parts are available and will be allocated to your car build.

Many dealers salesman do not understand the allocation process. They will take orders not knowing how many allocations if any they have. For instance, say the dealer has 1 allocation this month for a Yukon in any configuration. There is nothing to stop said dealer from taking as many orders as walk in the door even though they know that can only get 1 vehicle. They may have a list of buyers for 10 suv's but in reality they are only going to get 5 in the next 5 months. They are under NO obligation to tell the customer this so they lead you on or else you may go buy another vehicle somewhere else. Take what a salesman tells you with a grain of salt, they are BS artists.

My order is being built this week and current build code is 3400

Per this reddit thread, 3400 is Broadcast: At this point, parts are being pulled for your car prior to the start of production. A TPW and partial VIN should be available now.

You ordering it with pricing or placing an order and estimating the total price?
Not sure yet, dealer just said they were beginning to submit '26 orders. I'm sure there is price increase. He said download the '25 AT4 build page and we'll go off that but he does have latest info. Some minor package changes according to gmfleetorderguide.com; hopefully can post some info later tomorrow.

Coincidentally talked to my dealer today. He said they already have 2026 models on the lot.

He also stated he could order a 2026 based on the 2025 build sheet but could not quote pricing. Though he did say there would be a slight price increase
