2017 Tahoe radio jumps around and won’t accept Android Auto - SOLVED

I just bought a 2017 Tahoe with the pop up radio. The screen will change radio stations on it’s own and when I try Android Auto, it will Work for about 2 seconds and then goes away.

will cost you about $60 and couple hours of your time, dealer will not do this repair they will just sell you a new radio screen for god knows how much and labor will be stupid crazy.
I replaced the one in the wifes rig with this one about a year ago and it's working fine. the video is detailed enough to easily follow along. watch the right side center console re-assembly it has to go back together correctly or you will be doing it twice.

and this is how to do it, I suggest taking photos of the cage assembly once you have it out and on a workspace, because the ribbon cables are fed a certain away, so re-assembly has to match up how it was when removed, just click the play button and it will play on youtube..

I bought the screen and installed it. It took care of the issue. Thank you for the info
