I believe you get whatever is in effect at time of delivery. Your dealer can only offer it if they can get reimbursed for it at time of money exchange.

There may be "Some" discounts out there, but there aren't going to be any discounts on highly optioned or highly desirable vehicles. Most Yukon ultimate's that I am seeing online are + 5k over. I have seen some at sticker, but not any under if they are in stock.

Got it.

We decided to go with a Sierra 1500 and look at adding another SUV 2-4 years from now. I figured the Lexus GX550 and 2025+ 4Runner supply would be more plentiful in another year or two so it would give us more time/options to see what the 2025+ Suburban pricing looks like by then. We also didn't like how the 6.2 bundled other options like the Air Ride suspension on the Z71 and the Rear Seat entertainment package on the Premier trim.

I have seen major dealers like Classic Chevy go from MSRP to $3500-4000 off MSRP inside 1 month for the 2025 Suburbans.

I ordered a High Country in mid November from a dealer south of Dallas I was told it would late February or March before they could submit the order to GM. In the Dallas area some dealers like Classic are offering $3k off 25's now but I assume GM has too many pending orders to fill and will accept them when they catch their breath. I wish they made these at more than one assembly line but not yet.
Update I found a similar one at Classic Chevrolet with a couple extra options and I am picking it up in a couple days, I told the other dealer to cancel my order from mid November, I am buying this one with $4700. off retail

I think it depends on the dealer. When I ordered mine, my dealer told me the price I was given at the time of order was the price I pay. My dealer also has a price guarantee meaning if the price goes up when the vehicle is delivered. I get the quoted price (employee discount) plus any incentives at the time of delivery. So if these tariffs come into effect. I wont be affected.

Question for you folks that are more familiar with GMC's factory ordering process...

Are you able to lock in the current rebates/qualified rebates at time of ordering and opt for the rebates/qualified rebates at time of delivery if those are better?

I've talked to a few GMC dealers and they don't seem to indicate that you can lock in GM rebates/qualified rebates at the time of order.
For my Yukon, in February I negotiated 8% off a factory order ‘24 Yukon XL SLT Diesel with max tow and luxury/premium package. Rates dropped 0.5% after I ordered and I was able to take advantage of it while maintaining my same discount. Took delivery in April.

Looks like Bomnin is advertising almost $8k off on the 2025 Suburbans:

So I've had 2 dealerships claim that they are unable to provide a quote until they submit the build to GM and the order is invoiced. They didn't require me putting down a deposit. Does that make sense?

What's to stop me from saying, "Yeah, I'd like to order a fleet of 200 of the exact same build and never taking delivery?"

The GM order process is not great or consistent from dealer to dealer. In early ‘22 I put in an order for a Yukon XL at Robideaux Motors in Idaho along with a $1K deposit. On my build sheet the sales lady wrote down “lock in this price” and circled the price at the time of ordering.

Long story short I waited almost 9 months and it still wasn’t getting built so I started looking at incoming inventory and found what I was looking for at another dealer.

I got my deposit back and then a few months roll by and I start getting emails from GMC that my Yukon is getting built, then another email it was delivered to the dealership. Robideaux never cancelled the order and ended up selling it to someone else - but the order still had my contact info attached to it.

A dealer that isn’t taking a deposit from you likely isn’t going to lock in the price. I don’t believe GM has a “process” for deposits, locking in the price, etc. so it’s going to vary based on the dealerships practices.

Hey all, I purchased my 2025 Tahoe Z71 for 4.5k under MSRP at Classic Chevrolet in Dallas. I ended up finding what I wanted on their lot before my order came in elsewhere. We’re loving it so far.

I ordered and took delivery of a 2025 Yukon Denali with Denali Reserve package on 1/29/2025.
Since it was an order, it was MSRP with only a $500 military discount (no deposit needed when I ordered)

I ordered from the same dealership I ordered a 2024 GMC 2500 AT4 last year ($1,500 despot was required)

This place is a racket. Advertise off of MSRP and then hit you with thousands of incremental fees. Tried to put an order in with them and my $80k MSRP went up to $92k with all the fees and they wouldn't budge...looking for alternatives.

You referenced your build sheet. Was this the actual order with all options / RPO’s and the order number?

It sounds as though your dealer did not have any allocations and you were misled then?

When you paid your deposit - did you sign a sales contract which specified the vehicle, options and price?

I had a GM order number, order sheet from Workbench that showed all the RPO codes and a deposit with a signed agreement that the price I ordered at was locked in.

I was told they didn’t have allocation at the time and it could be awhile. This was in 2022 - not sure if you were in the car market then, but it was brutal. This forum was filled with people talking about how long they were waiting to get their new rig.

There was no misleading from the dealer. I just got impatient and found another one that was close enough of a match. It too was a custom order, but the buyer backed out.

I wasn’t in the market in 2022. My wife and I probably would have replaced our vehicles by then, but extended our manufacturer’s service plans and kept our vehicles (which we had bought new prior to all the supply issues).

You’re correct about the lack of allocation. That is what delayed or prevented the order from being picked-up and accepted by GM.

I bought a new 2024 Tahoe Premier 4WD in December and my wife ordered a new 2025 Equinox RS AWD in January - which was built and delivered to the dealer in March.

Car buying has returned to being somewhat normal, other than the massive price increases and lack of some features and options that are shown on the “build and price” feature on GM’s websites, but are not available when the vehicle is ordered (which is somewhat misleading to the consumer).

Anyone have experience with Classic Chevy out of Fort Worth / Dallas?

They seem like another high volume dealer.

Rivard in Tampa and Laura in St Louis are 2 others... But unless I could go personally, I'll just stick with what I know. I've got to see, touch, and feel before I do any negotiating.
