Chevy or weathertech seat and cargo liners?

We just picked up our 23 suburban high country duramax on Saturday that I was trying to order for over 8 months. I wanted to order it with the Chevy floor liners front to back but they weren’t available as an option when I ordered.

Rows 1-3 are available from Chevy but I’d have to get the Chevy cargo/seat back liner elsewhere which is no big deal. I also have a $250 weathertech gift card I’ve been sitting on for a few years that needs spent, I could mix and match Chevy and weathertech if the cargo or floor liners are better from one company or another. The weathertech has some poor reviews and I don’t like that the cargo seat back portion attaches with Velcro, does anyone know how the Chevy cargo seat back attaches? I saw a video of a trailblazer where he lined the mat up on the seat back and pushed holes through the carpet with a screwdriver to attach with push clips but I’m not sure if the suburbans/tahoes attach the same way. Thanks for the help.

I've got Weathertechs in the front row and middle row floors, and they are just OK. They do tend to fold inwards on the vertical surfaces, which I do not care for. Lots of folks are very happy with Husky floor mats.

I also noted the poor reviews of the WeatherTechs. They sure advertise a lot and make it seem like their product is top notch, but the reviews tend to say otherwise. On the other side, I've never seen complaints about the Husky liners. I believe I heard somewhere that Husky makes the Chevy/GMC OEM liners. For our rig, I ended up with a mixed and matched setup - GMC liners up front (bought with the MyGMC points from buying the rig) and Husky X-Act in the 2nd and 3rd rows. For the cargo area I installed a cover from CanvasBack - it covers the cargo floor, and the carpeted backs of the 2nd and 3rd rows.

It's been plenty wet here in the PNW this winter/spring (I think it's still winter out there - lol) and everything is holding up well containing the water/mud.

WeatherTech used to be the go to for floor mats. The past few years our mechanic has avoided them, they roll up on on the sides and distort. Not sure if they changed how they manufacture them, or they changed the vinyl product to a different mixture.

I ordered the chevy liners, they are heavy duty and I like them.

I have the gm liners for all 3 rows and cargo area. They fit quite well and no complaints with them.

I ordered the cheaper Huskys for my 2021 AT4, the Xact Contour ones. I only ended up keeping the one for the rear with the seats folded down. I had the same set on my 2011 Tahoe and loved them, they just did not fit this truck well. I also have a set of factory ones for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd row and they are a perfect fit.

My vote are the Husky I purchased Weather tec and son purchased Husky which are way better than my weather tec which leak at button that snaps into carpet.

I didn’t even consider the husky’s, I have a gift card for weather tech that needs spent and have $170 in Chevy money from the suburban purchase to spend. If you guys are also having trouble with them folding up I don’t want the seat floor mats, maybe I’ll get the chevys and spend the weathertech gift card on the cargo liner. I guess I can always add more Velcro to hold it to the seat back if need be.

Winter won’t let go on the east coast either, it was hot most last week and cold/snowing the last 2 days.

The CanvasBack liner is a single piece from the rear hatch up to the top of the 3rd row seat backs. There's extra material that folds nicely when the 3rd row is up and when you put it down it flattens out. The 60/40 can still fold independently. The 2nd row seat backs are covered by individual pieces. The gray/green seat covers are CoverCraft waterproof covers we installed over the seats since we have cloth interior and little kids...

Yes the cargo cover does protect the 3rd row seat backs. It's attached by Velcro. I will add more hook strips when it warms up a bit more to keep it from moving around as much.

I was hoping it was something more than Velcro as I ordered the full Chevy set front to back a little while ago but the weathertech is the same so I guess it doesn’t really matter. Thank you.

A good idea but I probably won’t run those into my seats.

My suggestion:
Get the GM OEM liners
Use your WeatherTech money for the no drill mud flaps, your rockers and lower doors will thank you
