hey hey it’s me again
finally going to obsess over something NOT 6L80 related… but oh, i’m sure i’ll be back to it.

anywho,
it’s finally time to repair - well, patch up - my sorely needed suspension system.

i’ve got a blown LR air bag & just got the new z55 OEM replacement on my doorstep… not passive, staying with stock.

i somehow managed to get my
hands on an autel maxisys for $100…& came with a fresh subscription & reset warranty. so when my luck hits - it looks like this.

anyway - i’ve got C0660-06 as the lone code for my ESC module. the weird thing is - after swapping out the 3 ESC related fuses - the service suspension system dash message went from a constant to intermittent. sometimes not displaying for a few days.

i ran tests on the RTD actuators on each wheel - & they all respond as they should.

like, please don’t tell me it’s the compressor .. but i guess, if you must, just tell me.
but is there anything else aside from replacing it that i could look into first? the intermittent message makes me believe it’s not totally shot. & maybe i have a wiring issue that needs addressing.

thx.
sorry i’m still long winded

idk how to add a signature so

You should be able to test the compressor functions using your scanner tool.

I would also recommend testing your air connections on both rear shocks using the soap and water method, and also test the bladder of the non-replaced shock while you are under there to ensure that you do not have a slow air leak.

BADABING BADABOOM! look at me go. moving up in the world. from a TYF newbie to a member with a signature.

albeit - a member who’s still throwing a 10mm around underneath my truck in hopes of continuing to somehow unbreak it. but a member, nonetheless. with a signature.

(i can’t take the credit. it was all @Fless )

can i weigh in on some of your scan tool expertise whenever you are free / see this ? (i know i look super master tech & all but … i’m not)

i figured out how to send commands to the RTD actuators. but that’s it. i also would probably benefit from confirming that the parameters i am getting on my scan tool are the correct ones that they should be showing.

this compressor has been in my nightmares for the last 4 projects i did on my truck … knew i’d have to address the elephant in the room - or electrical parasite on my rear (heh) - eventually. here i am.

the whole intermittent service suspension DIC message has me confused. hopefully confused.

Perhaps, your scanning tool has some online documentation regarding 'pathing' to get you to the right point in troubleshooting with the scanner. I've uploaded the Tech 2 'pathing' document, so that you can see how it is used.
