I've pretty much given up on getting the 2021 Tahoe that I wanted. Does anyone know when the dealerships will be accepting orders on the 2022's?

I never ordered it, the dealer kept telling me there was one production delay after another. I really think they only want to sell what they have on the lot. At this point, I figured I just wait for the next model year. The dealer won't give me a straight answer about when I'll be able to order a 2022.

I don't know a dealer anywhere near me that has them "on the lots" for more than a week and most all of them are sold coming off the carrier....

Stop depending on a dealer you don’t feel is trustworthy. When I buy I search inventory on the internet and travel to buy what I want.

If I was inclined to order, having a dependable dealer is even more important.

This past year, ordering a specific Tahoe has been difficult to near impossible. Shortages of parts, chips etc have lead to restraints that have been unseen before. Hopefully the 22’s will not have those problems.
I have a dealer/ salesman that I’ve dealt with for 30 years. He placed my order only to have the factory drop my max trailering pkg.
If I was willing to compromise on the black leather and rear bench seat, I could have had my order completed months earlier. Allocations was another issue.
Have patience and order what you want.

The problem with that is that the inventory isn't accurate. Even GMC can't keep up with what's actually available at a dealership. I've been searching for 3 months and when I see something and call it's already sold. I chatted with GMC online and they'd tell me there's one here, here and here and I'd call and nope. gone.
