I got my eye on the eibach kit too!! But lawd I just spent $450 on an upper intake job, knew gaskets, VC gaskets, knock sensors, cam sensor, oil pressure switch, knock sensor harness and two new kyb shocks as suggested a few pages ago. Me and a budy did job this Sunday.

Now I'm going to just go ahead and do lower ball joints, complete upper arms and pitman/idler setup.

Thats another $400 in parts alone. Cause I can't let my new tires on the Trailboss wheels get screwed up

Could you tell if any oil was leaking from anywhere when you did this?

Dang:(. See I don't want to see this cause now I want to order the Moog HD pitman!! I also added upper control arms and lower ball joints. Heck I might as well

way I saw it was my truck isn’t going anywhere so I did it all at once and should be good for the rest of the life of the thing.

rockauto is the place where I get everything, good parts and a good price I don’t believe in autozone quality and prices unless you are in a tight bind. This Chevy got me a lot of rock auto magnets to!

So yes. I inspected the rear main seal via the peep hole on bell housing and cover looked clean. Rear main seal looked OK. What prompted me to do the job was the top of the bell housing was covered in oil and no way that's happening unless coming from the top. I only did the knock sensors and all those gaskets because I wasn't taking all that off and half assing the job. Valley pan gasket, grommets all got replaced. My friend and I were both shocked at how clean the engine was. No gunk or buildup on heads or area under valley pan. I've had rig for 3+ years now, so I'm not sure of previous owners maintenance.

Couldn't wait and just went ahead installed the rough country bull bar. This one is much nicer than the westin. This is adjustable, and it has pretty drilled license plate mounts. I think it was a good purchase.

Now to get rid of all of the chrome...

Does anyone know where I can tap into a power source for two light bars? A preexisting fused location on the fuse box under the hood? I'm trying to minimize all extra wiring necessary. These two lights will be on the same toggle switch. Any help would be great, thanks!

Did that stop your leak? I have all those parts on my bench for when I get a chance…

I haven't had a chance to get under it. The drip pan I had it parked over seems to be staying dry. Perhaps it resolved 70% of the leak. I plan to spray the underside with purple power decreaser and hose it off at the carwash this weekend to verify

Is the yellow light on the 2wd button supposed to be on during the day. I only just noticed this cause the back light was not working so I replaced the 4x4 switch. The yellow light lights up when the lights are on in the night,, but during the day the 2wd light does not turn on. Can anyone confirm if it should be lite during the day.

One of the mode indicator lights is on all the time (with ignition on) on my '04. I would think yours would be the same.

Well the 4x4 switch does flash when starting the vehicle then stop. But when I do turn on the parking lights the back light turns on aswell as the 2wd yellow light.
