My Tahoe has been sitting for a couple weeks and I went out to start it. It cranked and barely turned over but started within 5 seconds or so. My problem is now my gauges don't work and my windows and locks don't work either. Can I simply disconnect the battery and correct this with a hard reset or is there something I need to look into with the body control module? Lights and radio did not want to shut off after this started either.

Probably needs a battery.

Def, especially if you have a warranty. They dudn't want to swap mind out because it maintained 12 volts--so they say. Just for ***** and giggles--Have you tried putting a charger on it?

I'll do that first. I work at a shop that sells interstate batteries, so I'll be able to figure something out one way or another.

Oil change. Going to send off a sample to black stone. Curious if it’ll give me any good info considering I have zero idea how long it’s been in there. Oil life monitor read 53%, about all I’ve got.

Curious to know how much life Blackstone says it has compared to the 53% estimate.

It’s a new vehicle to me so this one will probably be more about wear than anything else, especially since I have zero idea how many miles were on the change. Had a Mobil 1 filter and the guy seemed to take care of it at least.

Removed the T from my bag setup and installed new valves in a better location (hated the junk bracket)
