Would it really be worth it to BlackBear tune my wifes 2008 Tahoe that pushing 180k miles? Its has a canned tuner on it now just to turn off DOD and speed limiter...
I would say definitely yes. It will really wake up the truck and the better shifting alone is worth it plus the extra power. Factory tunes and shifting characteristics as well as torque management sucks.

The AutoCal V3 includes the hardware (yours to keep), custom tune and license, plus free tune updates as long as you own the vehicle, everything included it would be $649, plus shipping which is $10. If your vehicle is a 2017+ 6 speed it would be $709 plus shipping.

Thanks for contacting us. We might be able to tune it, on all the 2019 and 2020 models we need to check the VIN number, if you can email the VIN to [email protected] we would be happy to check.
@BlackBearPerf why do you need to check the VIN out of curiosity?

The enhanced security on the ECM for the 2019 and 2020 vehicles. At one point we were able to tune some models but that changed recently as well with an operating system change in their software.

Correct, unfortunately we would not be able to tune the 2021.

Oke just to be sure, if I would buy the Autocal V3 system, will that also include the tune or do you've to pay $400 for the tune also? Really in between this or do it at my ''good'' local tuner. With speed-bank etc. €399,00. That is like $490 dollars. But the Autocal is $649 but that's excluding taxes and shipping..
