Hey guys,
I just got this Amp off my friend for cheap:

http://www.fusionaudio.co.uk/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=116

He paid $600 for it 3 years ago. He just got all utopia speakers and Boston Amps so I got this one for a good deal

He is specs on this amp:
CEA 2006 OUTPUT POWER @ 14.4VDC
145 Watts RMS per channel @ 4 Ohms and 1%THD+N
S/N > 79 dBA (reference 1 watt into 4 Ohms)

ADDITIONAL POWER RATINGS 14.4VDC
230 Watts RMS per channel @ 2 Ohms and 1%THD+N
410 Watts RMS bridged channel x 2 @ 4 Ohms and 1%THD+N

Now my issue is minding components that I can run with this that will not blow. MY top choice now is Kappa Perfect which RMS 110 and max at 400W

Please drop some input

Thanks:Handshake:

Anthony, the best advice man really, is go out and listen to as many as you can. My ears will vary form what you like, so it would be the same for anyone else to add input. Go listen to as many as you can, and let your ears decide. :)

keep finding ones that your ears do like and then see if they can handle the power. if not move on to the next set that you like and see if they can handle it.

Hey that amp is of Rugby greatness.

What does this mean?

---------- Post added at 10:22 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:21 AM ----------

Also guys, my main concern right now is finding speakers at all that can handle 145RMS, every pair i find RMS is under 130. I just don't want to blow a pair

A 125-130rms speaker will work on that amp i would def not go lower than that but dont sweat trying to find a 150-175w rms speaker for it.. Just run a good name that can handle what it says.. remember.. a 150w speaker usually has a 300w max.. so running it at 150 on decent gain isnt gonna kill it

---------- Post added at 10:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:38 AM ----------

also .. its true wattage rating is at 14.4v .. so keep that in mind too

I like JL components personally. Alpine Type R makes a pretty decent component set too. A lot depends on what you want to spend. If money is no object then you could go Focal or MB Quart titaniums but that's too high dollar for me. I run my JLs and I'm happy.

I have NEVER NOT been disappointed with jl highs.. and i HATEEEE the infinitys.. everything about them from the big ugly ass crossover to the tinny sound ... id do the BAs either sets fine.. obviously the pros are better.. its up to you to decide if theyre $100 better..

We all know im a huge focal fan but the only set id run on that wattage would be the KP K2s or higher (140rms) but they start around $400 a set

honestly all those speakers are great speaker but it u want clean sound quality its goin to cost and i would advice ''audiopipe apmb-6nd'' they are very clean mids and they get very pretty loud i have 1 in each door of my yukon but at the same time i got allot of power in my system so I need loud speaker but if u by those mids ur gonna need to buy good tweeter to play it rite........rite now i got 4 of those mids and only 1 of my 15 in my truck in a custom box and need more top end and battery before i put in the other 15 rite now im think of 4 8'' inch mids and two pyle bullet tweeter......

i love loudspeakers in cars..(i have 2 Focal 7s in my rear deck) and ive never ran the audiopipes.. but if 4 of them wont compete with 1 15.. then im not impressed.. and they are only about $35 a piece.. so they arent exactly super expensive (ebay has them new for 100$ a set)

If you got the dough run a set of the K2 P2 Polykevlars ill see if i can get a deal if you wanna go that route.. or i can see about getting you a price on some Vibe Audio.. but i know the BEST price im gonna get on the P2K2s is gonna be $300-400 a set..

The BAs are sick though and cheaper.. so i mean if cost is it then do the BA sles which will be like $400 and change for the front and back doors....
