2016 Yukon Denali XL... I have the feature turned on in settings, but they're not warming during the remote start time. Seats work ok otherwise. Purchased use with no manuals

I believe the hvac has to be set to "auto" for the seats to warm automatically with auto start.

Are you sure they aren’t warming at all? This gens seats really don’t get very warm unless you are sitting on them.

Another...advancement.

Auto HVAC is on. My next step is I'm going to check them just as the remote start shuts vehicle off at end of run cycle. Also going to check(before/after) with an IR temp tool.

We are in the 40s and I have the heat seats set to turn on with remote start. They do not get very warm. It's like they come on but are on the low setting. However, it is enough to take the chill off the seats.

As noted in the other site/post, the lights for the heated seats do not come on with remote start but the seat warmer is on.

edit - This is on a 2019 Tahoe RST performance premier.

This is interesting. In my NNBS vehicles the seat warmers have always kicked on full and the lights light up accordingly regardless if the heater is in auto or not.

I used to have a 2016 Denali and had the same issue. However the level of heat output always seemed weak compared to other vehicles and so I assumed the perceived lack of heat to just not enough time to warm up during the10 minute programmed run time. I currently have a 2019 Denali and those seats get HOT. I do notice the heat during remote start warm-up. One of the few changes that's actually an improvement?

Got to stop at the dealer and they said there should be some warming, but none from mine... so will let them check it out because of GM certify.
