I continue to learn about my '05.... I found out how to change my steering wheel switches due to not lit up.

Last night I had a hard time seeing the dimly lit switches on the door. ( window & seat adjust panels)...
Also the panel for the headlight switches on dash are dark. Common sense tells me they should be lit.

..... and the dim door panels should be brighter....

It appears the headlight switch box has just a bulb.....( I need to learn how to remove it)

I do have a friend who is a pro solder for the window switches...... May cost a 6 pack....
If that’s all it costs you that’s a pretty damn good deal! Haha

You know directly to the right of the headlight switch there is a dimmer for all of your interior lights, right?

That's a great common sense question...... My answer is..... yea... other little lights are bright.....

Armrest/window switches are very dim. Headlight component is not lit ( I think it's just a bulb replacement)

In the rear wiper / fog light switch I think there are two bulbs. One for backlighting and maybe another for the fog light button. I may not be recalling that right, though, it's been a while since I had mine apart.

EDIT:

I once bought some replacement bulbs from this place:

I did a couple of 4x4 switches and either the headlight or rear wiper switch.
