Is the rear HVAC or Radio control panel backlit?
The one in the back of the center console on the floor of 2003-2006 tahoe, suburban, silverado, and avalanche.
I took mine apart, it has bulbs, they are not burnt out (i confirmed by measuring continuity across the bulbs). But they do not light up. However the bulb bases look slightly melted as if they did work in the past.

Can anyone confirm that their backlighting is working? Maybe post a picture? It would be greatly appreciated.
New to the forum btw, joined because I can't find information on this anywhere.

they work. Try giving the upper back portion of the console a smack and see if they come back on intermittently.

I got them working by cleaning all the contacts on the plug.

Damn. I just noticed that mine aren't working, either. Discovered it when I was trying to figure out if my rear heat was working (it's not).

Huh..... I should sit behind to see if the lights work ( never sat there when ignition key on)

Don't do it. You'll end up like the rest of us in here with another thing to fix!

The artist invented the remarkable airbrushing of headlights & tail lights on the funny cars for NHRA drag racers in the '60's. I hung out with him, assisting in his studios, when we met in about 1984, in Orange County, Calif. This poster was one of his very first posters he ever did, back in the '60's.

He gave me it..... It's a first print edition. VERY rare.
Oh,.... It's Kenny Youngblood " Blood Did It ".
