Lets just say i was 19 and got about 5 tickets that night and leave it at that.....good times, good times
I def remember those days. I lost my license twice, and the one time I worked for the NJDOT driving a truck! Wasn't fun.
i got ya beat there, at 19 i was mid way of a 3 year suspension already. i lost it pretty much 6 months after i got it.
I was bad--but not that bad! Lol, at one point my insurance spiked to $5,000 tho. This was the late 80's when insurance was out of control.

i had 18 points in less then a years time. my down fall was the 1970 formula 400 i found and bought. that things back tires had spontaneous combustion. you do the math 18 pts worth of careless driving, was 2 points a ticket, got a improper lane usage too mixed in there for another 4 pts.

ive yoyo'ed all over the place. in all ive amassed 43 points and lost em all over time. spent 6k in surcharges too. did a lot of defensive driving classes to loose the points too, think i cleared 10 pts one year doing classes.

then theres been a few speeding tickets over the years. all in a pick up truck and a crappy box truck, all out of state, so only 2 points for each of those babys.

turns out the cdl police troopers in DEL can see all the way back to the beginning of your driving record, hes comes back almost laughing. hes like you got a checkered past. im like me???? my lic is 100% clean. (and it was for 10 years or more at this point) he comes back with improper use of a moped? im like you can see that far back and i a just started to laugh, cause it is on my record, ive seen it myself its listed as my first violation. yet i never got that ticket. then i had to explain how i had that formula 400 and i was dumb ass kid.

still got the damn ticket too.

I've calmed down--somewhat. I can't afford to get a ticket, points or $$ wise. Top speed on my van is 97, same as my Tahoe was. Don't ask how I know:D!

i had my 03 2500 hd up to 120 for miles on end once upstate NY on rt 90. its like a dead straight hwy begging for speed. no idea what the limiter was set o stock on that, but 120 felt damn good. after 20 miles or more of this act, im like i should really back it down some. so i slowed to 90 and ran past a cop, yes he pulled me over, hes like you were going a little fast back there, nailed for 90. in my head im like you should have seen me 5 miles back lol turns out to be a cool ass cop, wrote me a failure to observe a traffic device, no points, 30 bucks iirc.

one of my fav stops was in a roll off on a holiday, so no truckers on the road, but me, county police make a living off pulling over and writing equipment violations on truckers. you get 5 or more no matter what. never got less then 5 tickets from one of these assholes.

so i roll past him he pulls out as soon as i passed him, his lights were not even on and i was pulling over already. hes like why did you pull over, you were going to pull me over were you not? im the only truck out here and you look bored. he was so far up my ass theres no way he was not gonna pull me over so i figured id make it easy on him.

i rolled off with 12 tickets that day, now tell me theres no quota BS. and on top of that not one ticket was legit, all fabricated BS.

And I bet if you tried to fight it, would be a waste of a day. Either way you lose.

tickets were not my problem really. they were written out to the registered owner. so i didnt pay them. co roll off truck. but what did happen is company's just dint pay them tickets being theres no one's lic to suspend over it not being paid, so they did start writing them out to the driver. at that point i was like heres your tickets, now write the check and hand it over right now!!!!! cause this crap is getting paid asap.

i did fight the tickets i got in my pick up truck from them. ended up getting one dismissed and the rest reduced big time.
