Late to the game I know - but there is a lever you pull under the passenger side of the rear seat.
Pull that, hold it, then pull the strap on the back of the seat (bit of a stretch). It will come down.
The rest are correct - remove head rest first and move seats up a bit just in case. It's a tight fit.
