as I'm also very close to Sacramento, I actually emailed them and their answer was "no plans". As it turns out (I didn't know this) they are in SoCal so it's not totally out of the realm of possibility, right? Or an excuse for you to have a nice road trip... ;)

I figure if you can entice his kids to an amusement park in your area, he'll hold an event to pay for it! If I were you guys I'd talk the town up, old west towns and gunfighting, water parks, etc. LOL

Good Morning, unfortunately Jeff is correct, we do not have any plans for a tune event in Sacramento. Of course we would be happy to help with one of our other tuning options.

What’s the advantage of doing the tune in person as opposed to ordering it online? I’m ready to pull the trigger on a tune for my 07 Tahoe. But I see BB has an event scheduled for Jersey (don’t know which part), so I’m wondering if I should just wait.

Hello, thanks for contacting us about a tune, we would be happy to help. The in person tune, and our AutoCal or Scan Cable tune option, are the same quality tune, we are able to see your specific vehicle data, and tune based off that. With the in person tune, the tuner will ride around with you and tune in real time while you are driving.

If you add mods or make any changes, we update our tunes for free as long as you own the vehicle, with the AutoCal you are able to receive the updates via email. The other options you would have to pay to ship computers back and forth.

I need to get my tune back on my truck. My initial tune had some hiccups. I thought I had logged and emailed the initial tune log but never heard back.
It was during one of your busy times so I just reloaded the stock tune until I heard back.

Life got crazy and took over and I’ve forgotten all about it.

Truck had been on the stock tune ever since with the autocal sitting in a drawer.

I Wish you guys had a tune day up here so you could look at what’s on the log and refresh stuff.

I need to figure out again how to reload the tune, relog it, send it off and then reload the polished tune.

I’m so not computer savvy. I just can’t get comfortable with the EFI desktop program user friendliness.

Hello Charles, we can absolutely help you out. There would be no reason we would not respond to your email unless we did not receive it for some reason. Also just in case here is the link to our instructions for using the AutoCal. http://www.blackbearperformance.com/autocal_management.asp

Let us know what section you are stuck at. You can send it to [email protected] we would be happy to help.

I’ll plug it into the desk top later today if I get a chance and see what’s what.

I’ll also look and see if the instructions have changed from how they were when I bought the thing.
I remmeber they were very confusing back then and were full of steps that didn’t apply.
There was a thread going about that confusion at the time. Ended up using a YouTube vid from a different company and different platform to get the tunes loaded etc etc etc.

You need a “crayon eater” version of the instructions.
