Thanks guys!!! Nice to be here, been using the forum for a bit, so figured I’d join. I do love me a Tahoe!

Welcome but we don't call it repair around here. We call it mod. So get to modding your wife's Tahoe dammit. Lol.

Hahaha!!!!! My wife couldn’t agree more!!! It’s waiting for some transmission work. Winter is coming and she needs her Beast back!! She’s in a 2wd F150 right now.

It's been a while since I see a blazer, welcome to the forum

Thanks. I found it not running in a farm field. 191,234km(119,000mi) A guy had bought it for his son, but the kid hated it and wanted a Subaru. So there it sat for 2+ years. it died on the drive from the yard out to the road (to put it up for sale). He thought it was the fuel pump. So I brought it home for the low cost of $350 with the company truck and trailer. Once home a couple hours, a battery and a fuse (ECM) i had her running. Fast forward a couple months, another +/-$950, a pile of time and I have a rust free, reliable daily, that’s actually one of the most well optioned vehicles Ive ever owned. Still needs a bit of work but its mostly down to odds and ends.

This is How I found it...

Yikes! That's a steal lol.
My parents had a 1995 navy blue blazer 5 speed when we lived in Venezuela. I loved that truck, when we came here in '98 we got a '99 Yukon, which was going to be my truck but a school bus decided to rear end me as i was pulling out of the drive way.
I wouldn't mind getting myself a old blazer as a daily driver.
Take good care of it and enjoy it
