I used my 05 to trailer home my new project. Today after sitting at a friends house since the purchase Tuesday. It is an 01 Yamaha R6. It's the first bike I've ridden in about 13 years. I definitely have some personal bugs to work out [emoji23]. Brought this home for $1700. It's I beater but the engine is perfect! It's definitely going to consume most of my spare time.

Thanks, when I bought the Hoe the only lights that were working was the window switch on the passengers door...she's been very neglected lol

Oh damn on the NBS trucks all of the LED's had to be soldered in?

I have the same problem. Doing it next weekend

Oh damn that sux, the shop I use did the intake gaskets a few months back got a check engine light on for the knock sensors which were replaced with the harness but sometimes the aftermarket ones work or don't so there gonna get a set of AC Delco knock sensors and harness I just need to pay the difference it's like $60 bucks gonna have them do the valley cover gasket and oil pressure switch cause with the intake off it's really easy to do beats having to do it down the road same thing with the valley cover gasket no issues but beats doing this all again

I bypassed soldering anything in, instead I used a glue gun and wired the led's to the headlights

Hm, might have to try that, on my OBS I did the interior and exterior lights over to LED they looked great was all plug and play these trucks with the expectation of dome and door lights need to solder everything unless u do what u did

The way I did it you can place the led's exactly where you want the light to shine opposed to soldering them in and still having a dull spot if you don't aim them correctly

Tranny update.

WOW. I don't remember how this ***** drove when it was new but I know it was in no way this responsive and smooth. It seems to jump out of the gate as soon as D is selected, and rolls a steady 18-20mph on flat ground and no throttle. It almost shifted itself. Also I'm not unintentionally "Goosing" the gas pedal anymore going over bumps and what not. Not sure how the tranny affected this but it did. I was thinking my front suspension was going already, but it's fine. Also before on the highway in O/D 75-80mph, I could NEVER get it to just downshift one gear down, it would only go all the way down into an almost red lined gear. Now it goes into two different gears depending on how much I slam the the pedal. Sorry for the goofy explanations but don't really know when I'm in 3rd, 4th, or 22nd with a slush box. [emoji57]

All in all, pretty happy guy here so far!

Making me jealous. Did you say what it ended up costing?
