Got my 3" rear drop from @NORCAL SS was very simple and straight forward. Let me start by saying my mind is blown by how much better this thing handles. I really like the stance it has. I was able to get a little rakeg off of just lowering the factory bars. The ride in the rear is a little stiff with the zw7s still back there but hopefully I can get some factory replacements this week sometimes. Overall very very happy with this. I wanted to go lower but family comes first and this is what I had the money to do for the time being.

Nice work on the grille and wiper delete. I still have my CM plugs in and am glad I ditched that wiper, even if it is not a proper shave at the moment. :waytogo:
Don't realize how ugly they are until you remove them lol...mine rattled real bad aswell

The back flows so much better without the wiper to me lol...anyways ordered a new console lid (looks like someone hit it with a sledge hammer) and a new upper steering shaft. Mine has that dreaded clunk when braking/turning

Does look good! Mine is just starting to get the dreaded oxidation around the base of the wiper arm. Hoping to have it completly shaved and painted in the near future

Not the ones that are on it I'm waiting to get my escalade handles and bumper cap first. A real good friend of mine just so happens to be the local GM dealers painter. I'm giving him this high mileage escalade cluster and he's paint matching the handles bumper caps and appliqués in a straight trade

Dorman upper steering shaft replacement. $55 shipped to my door. Fixed my rattle:burnout:

All you need to replace this is a 15mm short barrel socket and ratchet, 15 mm wrench and maybe an extra hand.

The only time I felt it was when I was coming to a stop and turning the wheel it drove me insane. It's almost hard to explain bc you can feel it in the wheel but it's not like a front end slack feeling

eBay.
Rattle that felt like it was in between the floor board and steering wheel
Sometimes I feel something like that when I hit a big pothole. Glad you were able to figure it out. One day maybe I'll buy a shaft too, but mine really isn't bad yet.

Yeah, super easy install, but makes a huge impact, visually. EBay? I had the same setup but changed it out for a complete center console.

I'll go that route if I ever come across one with lower dash pieces with everything the same color it for now I'm content with it.
I have kids so the fold up doesn't bother me much.

Next on the list is going to a 03-06 steering wheel. The 99-02s are so hideous lol.
I guess I need to look into it before I impulse buy.

I have those lower dash pieces in gray if you ever want to do the swap.

I didn't know the 02's we're different. I have a vette steering wheel and air bag I was going to put in, but changed my mind.
