Black grill

I found this black grill on eBay to try and avoid having to paint it. Do you think the part in the middle that the Chevy bow tie would cover that part and I would be able to attach the bow tie to it?

Yes, the bow tie will attach to it without any issues. Mine was the exact same way.

Thanks Chicago this might be a better way to go instead of trying to,wrap or put vinyl on my grill. Just curious what the shop,would charge me to install it!

That was my thought as well...plus it's a bit more permanent than a wrap.

As far as labor goes, all depends I suppose. It took me about 2.5 hours to do it all on my own, without access to a lift, and following along with an install video as I had never taken the front bumper cover off before. For someone who is familiar with these trucks and has access to a lift I would think they could cut that install time in half if not even more.

It really can be done all on your own if you want to invest the time.

I have three of these. First two had small corner damage during shipping. I practiced painting one of the damaged ones. Third one is in good condition. I'm in the Detroit area and could cut you a pretty good deal. The emblem slots area perfect match btw.
