I used reciprocating saw to cut mine. Does sound good when you step on it.

exhaust gets that much louder cutting the resonator?

I have a magnaflow muffler replacing the stock muffler but thought the resonator didnt do much for noise! the blower makes the exhaust sound like a blow dryer when i step on it

yeah it does get a little louder but not by much.

Also sold the Z06's and got some 16"er's.

My friend was there when I put it on and he confirmed that it made no difference. Now when I put the airaid JR on it go louder inside under heavy acceleration but thats to be expected.
