Was actually yesterday, but I used it to haul my built 4L60E and FTI torque converter to the new owner.

With what I sold the package for, I could buy one of the many low-mile 6.0s I was eyeing on car-part. But I gotta do the responsible thing and pay off a credit card. Adulting sucks sometimes.

"adulting" lol. Totally sucks.

Hmmm, now you really got me thinking. I don't get much performance usage on my 6 miles of travel a day. I was considering ceramic coated shorties but may just replace the manifolds and bolts and call it a day.

I agree with @iamdub. Forget the shorties. Pick a nice muffler you like and weld it in. So easy, so cheap, so worth it.

This is my new Baby that’s being restored. She’s a 1968 International Loadstar 1600 with a 345 V8 paired to a 6-speed Allison transmission. She served with California Department of Forestry from 1969 till 1988. I am doing a full restoration and hope to have her off to the shop soon for some new sheet metal and paint to stop the rust process.
