There are some nicely done Z71's here that are dropped. Tybardy and SwtZ71 both have a very nice ride here on the forum. Would our front CV Axles handle a 3/5 drop? I would think it would be to harsh of a angle.

Here is a sweet Z71 dropped that I found searching Google.

For fun here is one lifted on 20's :)

since late 99 ive lowered well over 300 trucks in the front with the djm a arms and sold many more online and not one has had issues with axles in the front on a 3 inch drop. IN rear the tb spring set ups used also many times since late 02 when djm brought the tb 2/4 kit into production and using the rear tb springs/djm hardware combo with the 2000 shocks no issues just a nice ride.

i wouldnt worry about the front axles too much, there are plenty of guys on here, myself included, that are at 4" or lower. i personally have never had any binding problems or anything associated with the front axle not engaging. no worse than the 4x4 lifted guys with their axle angles, just a different extreme.
heres a bigger version of my sig pic without that cheapass name thing, 285/45/22

and not a great pic but shows the difference from stock

ok so you have 305 40 24 now?

also are the wheels
24x9.5 or 10 inches wide?

what is the offset or backspacing of the wheels?
