I have a 2003 tahoe with a 4.8 engine ,The milage has about 300,000 miles on it. I would like to get a junkyard engine to overhaul. I'm going to have the block bored 0.010 over but I am at a loss on what to do now. My goal is to build an engine between the 4.8 and the 350. I know there the same block but different stroke. So was wondering any ideas on how to beef this engine up?
