I have an '07 PPV and I belive the front struts or springs are shot. We have 3 in our fleet and mine rides terrible. I know they are supposed to be stiff, but this is a little much. It dosen't bottom out or anything, but it bounces on small bumps. We put a new set of tires on and it may have helped a little.

I've looked everywhere on the net for the correct replacements and everything excludes police models. I'm all for aftermarket replacements as long as it dosen't sit any higher than it does now. It does have aftermarket air bags on the rear, but I thought that was only for increasing weight

Thanks in advance

Should be no issues for the fit.

What do mean you by the second question?

Sorry.. The PPV has a lot lower stance than a normal Tahoe. I didn't know if it was the struts or springs that made it lower. The dealer quoted me $450 per strut installed, but wouldn't give me the part number.

Call the dealer with a VIN...parts dept.....

Ask them to cross reference the struts to normal LS trucks.

its the front/rear springs. Struts are same length/snap ring position as stock tahoe/or autoride front struts.

most likely its the struts that are shot how many miles do you have on it?

Balljoints checked?
tie rods checked?
control arm inner bushings checked?
swaybar endlink bushings checked?
