Prior to me changing my sticking caliper, my 00 OBS Z71 had the firmest pedal ive ever felt in a GMT400 truck. Replaced the caliper and bled the whole system untill there was a steady stream of fluid. Did this over three times just to make sure. Pedal still feels spongy and weak.

A buddy that works at a GM dealer said i may need to take it to the dealer so they can pulsate the abs pump/system to build pressure. Is this a reasonable cause?

the abs should only require bleeding if air has been introduced to the system. i would consider something wrong with the caliper or that there might be an air pocket that just did not make it out.
