radio wiring question

Going to replace the stock radio cd player but i want to keep the tape player thats mounted lower in the dash. Will this be doable with the wiring kit that i need for the stock harness? Thanks in advance.

no..you might be able to find a wire diagram for the factory tape deck. But the prob will

be the control buttons for tape deck are on the oem radio id i remember correctly.

I dont but i use it so i can listen to the music on my phone. The headunit i am putting in doesnt have aux in. But i found a way around it. My next question is there a pocket that will fit into that spot where the tape deck was???
