I've already done the 4Hi Mod by tapping the underneath the Fuse Block and grounding to the fender, and the Auto Headlight Defeat with the resistor, on my 2001 Denali with 6k HIDs. My question is I've seen a few ways to do the DRL-Low mod. Some involve connecting the harness from DRL to the Low and pulling the DRL fuse. I'm more interested in the Diode mod from HL Relay 87 to DRL Relay 87. There is a youtube video with a 01 or 02 2500hd that did the diode mod and it worked but they never stated what exact diode they used. I've search gmfullsize and some others and have come up with either the 1amp diode or 3amp diode.
I'm just curious if any pre 03 NBS truck owners have done the mod or could offer any input or suggestion into it.
