New Tail lights and now engine light and battery light??

I have an 03 Tahoe Z71 and installed new LED spyder tail lights on it. I now have the check engine light and battery light showing..... Anything I can do?? It was fine before putting on the tail lights.

If the battery light is showing that means it's using your battery to run so you might have a bad alternator. The check engine light shouldn't have anything to do with replacing tail lights, just go to advanced auto and ask them to check the codes, they'll do it for free
