Subbing to this - you mean extending the wires from the old switch all the way through the steering column to the shifter. Sounds tough but I may be missing something

Wait, do you all have TC switches? When the crap did they start putting that in? Am I totally oblivious or am I correct that I don't have one of these in my '02?? (Of course the one day I don't drive it to work so I can't go check...) I thought I just had to live with it always trying to spoil my fun in the rain...

Not all have the cubby. Some have the traction control switch, and some models have other switches there. Some Tahoes built for sale in other countries even have rear a foglight switch right there. There was a member on here from Norway (Bobas) who sent me his switches to convert to blue LEDs and that rear foglight switch had me a bit stumped for a minute. Lol

Where's the write-up that shows how to install this? My 02 has the on-star buttons in place of this.
