I just picked up an escalade gauge cluster for my 97 Hoe, and im just curious what other people have done as far as the mileage discrepancy. Is there anything official i have to fill out or just keep it logged somewhere in the vehicle?

i would log the milage on both new and old one in the note section of owners manual also on a piece of tape and stick it to the cluster before installing, if you tell the dmv they will brand the title true milage unknown or not actual milage

you can pull the milage part out of the old cluster and put it in the new cluster without F'ing anything up. theres a write up on FullSizeChevy.com about it that was posted up on the old forums.
