KEEP YOUR EGR...for mpg purposes and performance.

I'm throwing on a whipple kit with LTs and I'm keeping mine. Not making the power to loose it.

On my DSM I had my egr system and that was with 25lbs of boost and a lil over 500hp.

we already had this conversation crack head!! remember, my EGR isnt hooked up to my manifolds(headers)> only the vortecs areee

You might want to watch them a few guys on FSC have had trouble with them rusting. One says his has dime sized holes in them he is in Canada. The other is in Alabama and is having issues with rusting. So just thought i would add that

Jegs carries two diffrent x-pipes for our trucks
pacesetter makes lt for the 96-99 trucks with
egr and o2 setup.
Jegs narrow x pipe 555-30681 64.99
magnaflow narrow x pipe 642-10701 83.99
pacesetter LT headders 70-2262 307.99

jegs doesn't have a pic of headders but summit does
they are painted

You better do a 6.0.

If your gg with all the trouble running two PCMS go straight for that Gas Guzzing HP spitting *****.

I would do the 6.0 but I don't plan on having a 600+hp truck as of now. You are at school....you have all the tools...wealth of knowledge and know how when shit hits the fan. The only thing that scares me is the DUAL PCMS and ALL OF THAT WIRING :(

haha well see, i might do a whole 6.0 4l80e 14bolt swap from a 05 wrecked 2500chevy.. then sell my whole drivetrain and be on my merry way
