What ever you get make sure you get 2ohm speakers. your stock bose amp is 2ohm and if you get 4ohm, it wont sound good.

I followed some good advice from a fellow forum member on here and just added Dynamat to interior door panels as an experiment, leaving factory speakers intact. Also reactivated my satellite radio subscription for 6 months. Total cost for all that: $75.

Is the sound good enough to please an audiophile? NO. But the listening experience is definitely better than before, and driving is much more enjoyable.

If I ever add aftermarket speakers, I'll look at 2 ohm.
