Hotspot connected, but unable to browse

Anybody successfully troubleshoot a scenario where your built in Hotspot just stops working? Long story short, it's still broadcasting fine, but I have no internet. (I have an IP, but can't pass data). I've spent hours on the phone with both AT&T and OnStar, it's been a joke. From AT&T side, everything is provisioned properly and active. OnStar claims to have some Tier 2 support team that takes 3 days to call you back, waited 3 days only for a Tier 1 yep start with "so what seems to be the problem?" Then after very rudimentary troubleshooting say, I'll need to escalate your issue to an advance team that will call you back in 3 days. I'm literally told that I need to go to the dealer now.
