This post is rather long so be prepared to read a lot. It is worth it though.
If you are one of those people who idolize Tony and want to know the truth, you should read on. If you don't want to know, then feel free to leave this thread and browse other forum threads.

NorcallSS/Tony is probably one of the biggest liars this board had ever seen after NC6600.
He claims to have been dropping these SUVs for ten years with various parts, but it comes out in numerous posts that he is simply a liar.
I want everyone on here to know that he will say ANYTHING to make a sale.
Tony likes to push DJM parts because he make a better profit off of them So he insist on pushing their control arms (hop on GMFS and see) along with their other parts.

Me and him go back to 2009 when I made my first purchase from him.
I installed the DJM rear 4" coils and DJM hardware kit under his instruction.
It was hell. First, NONE of the DJM parts lined up like they should. Sway bar end links were too thick and needed trimming. Axle relocators holes did not line up with the frame, shock extenders broke off after a few days of driving (ask member Blazed, same thing happened to him), and the coils rode like absolute shit.
When I asked Tony what the deal was he made it look like I was just complaining too much and stated that all suspension parts (no matter brand) need to be adjusted to fit when installed. In all the parts that are on (or were on) my Tahoe, only DJM parts require such.
Tony is also fund of leaving out modifications people need to do to run drop parts successfully.
In the past, he would never mention when the free travel mod needs to be done because he does not want buyers to decide against his parts. He recently started saying the free travel mod is needed though because too many people were complaining that the ride was rough.

Look in these old threads for additional details about Tony:

In the first thread, Tony mentions that the DJM TB coils will drop these 00-09 SUVs 5"-6".
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13593

Here he says the DJM TB coils drops the rear of a 2010 Tahoe non autoride 5.75".
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14628

Here he states many things. That the DJM TB 4" coils drop the rear more than DJM 5" coils. This may be true, but if so, it is not by much. My DJM 4" coils sat about 1/4" higher than my Belltech 5303 coils. My Belltech 5305s sat 1/4" lower than my current Belltech 4230s. If you do the math, that means the DJM TB springs are only a 4" drop just like my original DJM Tahoe 4" coils.
He then states that the DJM TB coils ride better than the Belltch DJM coils, and that they drop more.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13475

Again, another thread that the DJM rear TB coils drop these SUVs 5.5"
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18584

Here (last post on this page in Max's thread), Tony goes as far as saying the DJM TB coils will drop these SUVs 6.5" in the rear
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8335&highlight=4230&page=8

Tony's change of tone comes:

Now here, Tony states (with supposed proof) that the rear Belltech TB coils drop these SUVs more than the rear DJM TB coils (that he has been pushing above) after a frustrated member reported.
He also states this again in more threads that I do not feel like digging up.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23975

Here he states the Belltech TB coils ride better than the DJM TB coils:
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37091&highlight=4230

Post 16 on this page he again states the Belltech TB coils ride better than the DJM ones:
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=37091&highlight=4230&page=2

On a side note, here is a bogus thread about an older guy who supposedly installed Tony's 3/5.5 over another brand 3/5.
I bet it complete BS. I actually think it is Tony who posted as the supposed "Frank"
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22048

Here is Tony mentioning how many kits he has supposedly installed, and yet none of them seem to have the issues that I and many members on here and GMFS have seemed to have.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27738&highlight=4230

My latest experience:
I had the Belltech 5305 coils installed that were as advertised as a 5" spring. After Blazed brought it to my attention the other day, I noticed that my drop was not 5", but more like 4.25 -4.5".
So I decided to try the 4230 coils due to the two threads (and many more) below:
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23975

*****ATTN: Tony inserts the ground to fender height of the Tahoe in the above link.
He says the tire is 32.1" tall and the front fender height is 32", while the rear height is 32.75"
The thing about impulsive liars is they often get tied up in their lies (old lies don't match new lies, like this whole thread is about), and their lies often don't make sense when scrutinized well.
Do the above measurements make sense? If they did, the front tire should be barely tucking fender, while the rear tire/rear fender gap would only be the size of the width of two fingers at most.
As you can tell, that is not the case. The numbers are manufactured by Tony himself.

Anyways,
I got them (the 4230s) ordered and installed yesterday and it turns out that the 4230s sit .25" HIGHER than my old 5305s. So that essentially makes them a 4"-4.2" coil at best.
So the coils that Tony is advertising as a minimal 5.25" coil simply is 1" less at most.
The thread below has a member with the exact same experience. Tony comes in immediately and mentions coil cutting. Why would he do so if he knows the coils should be a 5" drop?
Because he knows they really are not. So he is trying to do quick damage control instead.
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30673&highlight=4230

Keep in mind I do not have Autoride, have the DJM hardware kit, have an adjustable panhard, have shorter rear shocks, and have the free travel mod with short bumpstops.
So everything (and more) that Tony mentions is needed to get the rear down 5.25" or more.
When I call him out about it he simply says I am an isolated case (like he always does and it is complete ********) and that he will not post anymore about the topic (essentially dodging me).

For more, start on this page in the thread below and continue on:
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=43587&page=122

What do you guys think now? I am pretty sure I have presented more than enough evidence to prove my point here.
Tony has NO SHAME. He is just trying to make a PROFIT off members by lying about his experience dropping these cars, parts quality, and drop amounts.
If Tony has been dropping these cars so long I am almost positive that he would know what he is talking about. But above, you can see he changes his statements constantly to correlate with what he is trying to sale.
Don't be surprised if he refuses to post (or give any explanation) in this thread because there is none.

I am so fed up with Tony that I am pissed off even typing this thread.......
I ought to call Tim (the McGaughy vendor) to come and chime in on this thread. He has mentioned in a past thread how Tony being a liar on here (and GMFS) and is simply too thirsty to make sales. That is one of the reason why he does not log in here anymore. Tony has brainwashed everyone into thinking he is a good guy with great products and customer service. That is simply far from true.

 ........wow. I've been really considering trying a 3/5 drop or whether I should save up after taxes and get an air ride suspension. This may change things a bit depending on the outcome.

im going to answer once to this and im done.

1) on maxs thread you can see the difference between teh coils/thickness of the old light silver 4230 vs the new 4230 also height difference.

2) on the z71s you will get more drop vs a regular tahoe since rear springs are a little higher.

3) The moderators here can see if "frank" was using the same IP as me and they would bring that up if it was the case

4) this pictures in threads are from what other customers sent me on the info chart. I put their info up becuase people will see the results were from the original owners truck.

5) here is another customer with the same rear kit you have hes at 33.25 in rear he posted the results also. (people still said 5.5 at this time but 5+ on my site as I stated in next post as3/5 not 5.5 at same time frame this post was posted)
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38052

6) if you look at my 3/5+ kit now in rear i have it listed 5-5.25 inches its been that way on my site for a while now. It didnt drop the full amount as I first stated (which i addressed) so I adjusted accordingly ie 5-5.25 inch drop which has been a while. Your posts where i said 5.5 was in 2010 and 11 things have changed. I haven't used the 5.5 for a while now just 5+ and in notes says 5-5.25. Your post links from what I said are from (in some cases) years ago things have changed and my site reflects this. Even here i said 3/5 since thats what I had it listed on the site at that time
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38055

7) You went off on my about the strut mod which ive been doing for years you went so far to discredit me on the post and try make me look like im a liar...... and what happened you were actually wrong which prob upset you even more and that pretty much lead us into what we have here.

8) Modded you always have issues with me and there are many here that have been happy with my help. I even lifted a members up few weeks ago and he posted pics in the 4x4 section since you say i dont do all these trucks. You can see that customers truck here.http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=46924

9) On my 6 inch drop spring i sent the springs out to actaul testers and they got more drop out of them and ride was nice also which both members on this site posted up about. I went off of their measurements even if lets say a person got a 5.75 inch drop instead of 6 do you think they would complain?? We all know that some trucks will vary where they sit at its been like that with GM for years.

Here is member Chad7n7 same kit as you in back 32 1/8 (not .25 sorry) in rear which sits lower than yours i think by 1 inch he is on 305 35 24 and most of all hes happy with the drop kit. LIke I said i dont know why your truck is sitting higher.
2012-03-15143434.jpg

Here is another truck i did
http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=26508

5305 3 inch rear drop kit he was sitting at 34 5/8 from belltech (had spacer in)
Take spacer out he would be at 33 5/8 4 inch drop
As the above post on chads truck he on 305 35 24 he is at 32 1/8 from ground to fenderlip
305 45 22 32.81
305 35 24 32.41 so tire will sit .2 lower at lip

33 5/8 with the 4 inch spring (spacer removed) then put in the 4230 he would have been at 32 5/8 then the shorter 24 inch tire height would be at about 32 1/4 lets say. That's a full one inch lower then the 4 inch belltech spring and pretty much the same height as chads truck.

I'm done with this topic I said what I wanted to say if someone wants to get other details they can pm me or call. I've been on this community for years helping the best way I could. I fixed the rear spring heights a while ago and two posts above can show the results of the kits I sold to customers.

I have installed many of the same items on my wifes escalade and done a full write up on it even write up while towing and so trying to give the community even more feedback on the kit. Tried the 4230 also but for towing wouldnt be the best and didnt want to have helper bags plus the autoride so put the 5305 back in if I didnt have autoride id just add in helper bags and be done with it.

If the beef is personal, let's deal with it through PM, email, etc. There is a Member Feedback section which you can voice your personal seller/buyer experience, but even there, still no bashing or personal attacks allowed. Let's do our best to stay civil and don't let threads get out of hand.
Thanks guys.
