One thing to keep in mind, when looking for a motor, is fuel supply. Our OBS Tahoes have dual lines- one supply, one return. Some LS motors don't have that but some do. If you look at the pics in my build thread, you'll see the motor I purchased had dual fuel lines, so it would swap easier; however, there are conversion that can be done, just means more money.
