Hello,

I am interested in putting on my 15 suburban a front leveling kit.
Apart from any increase on N.V.H, I read that putting a front leveling kit will affect the durability and wear out faster the suspension on my truck.
My question is for any of you guys that had a front levelling kit and slightly oversized tires for more than a couple years, have you seen any premature wear or anything that would make you reconsider if you were to do it over again?

thanks!

Nothing will wear other than upper ball joint and maybe bushings. All you need is some lift UCAs to correct it.

thanks for your input!
Looks like it would be pretty minimal additional wear.
I am looking to put on 275 on my 18" wheels and lift the front 2" on my 15 suburban

I've had my 2.5 TGC kit for almost 2 years and 305/55/20s (~33x12.50) for about a year. No ill effects thus far and I'm at 142k. If my ball joints wear out 10k quicker, big deal. It's a simple fix and then they'll be good for dang near ever.

I planing to do the same setup you mentioned, but I have a 2013 z71 Tahoe. Have you done it? and if so is there any tire rubbing & could you post pictures please.

My .02 on a Z71

2.5/1 kit

The same tires would clear easier on a K2XX because the wheel wells seem to be more forgiving. Sure you will probably have to trim, but cutting some plastic and a few whacks with a hammer to stuff you won't see is not a big deal in my mind.
