I just bought a 2012 Suburban and the driver side mirror will not adjust up or down. It will move left and right but not up or down. I also can not push the mirror up or down with my hands, even will holding the buttons. Anyone have this problem before or know what is causing it? Thanks for the help. Lance

I got the part but it did not come with instructions. I have tried youtube, but can not find one for replacing the motor. Most of them are just the glass. Has anyone else done this or know how that could help? Thanks

push the mirror down (like you were looking at the road), then pull the top of the mirror back and it will pop off. There's 2 star bit screws holding the motor on and then the small wiring harness. very easy

That is why I had to buy the mirror in the first place. It won't go down or up. Even if I try to push it, it won't move. I tried to pry the mirror up and off, but the bottom of the housing will just flex and the mirror will not move. I will keep trying though.
