5.7 96 throttle body and manifold difference

what is the stock size of the throttle body like on my 5.3 01 suburban i heard they are 75mm
and is it worth it to go with 80 85 or maybe even 90mm TB
also does porting and polishing yer TB really do much

yeah once do some more upgrades on the intake side and on the exhuast side ill do a BB tune and then once again when i finally do a cam

Just because I already had it, before read they really don't do anything. Bored out cause it was smaller than TB by about .200 of an inch.

i heard throttle body spacers are kinda pointless on electronic fuel injections in general

I think it helped a lot, there was a bottle neck on the bottom side of TB of about .125 of a inch. I removed that and if you look at pictures close you will kind of see 2 angles on upper side of blade. I tried i ported to one staight angle. I did break thur to outside, I had it weld and polished back out.

Going that big depends on how large the hole is in the actual manifold. I know LS motors you can buy intake manifold up to like 104mm i think.

they have a benefit in some cases but not really at all on the vortec 350.
