Nothing, I just got the oil pressure sensor and the little screen from Amazon today, so I changed the plugs and started it up and the pressure was at 40. I drove it until it reached temperature and all seemed fine besides the ticking.

Is it a loud tick? Is there a way to upload video of the sound? That would help greatly.

Yes its loud. Its comming from the passenger side. I'm pretty sure it's a lifter. I've already tried to upload a video, it keep saying the video is to large even though it's only 8 seconds

5.3, idk it's the 1st time I've ever dealt with a 07 to 14 gm v8. How do I figure it out? And no CEL.

If you are going to do the pickup tube o-ring you should do the oil pump while you are in there.

Also do the oil filter again and all fresh oil. 6 quarts I believe.

But the pickup tube can be done by just dropping the oil pan while the pump requires disassembling the front of the motor which is more than a lot of people are comfortable with.
