    6.0 oil sludge

    i am replacing the o-ring for the oil pick up tube and when I took off the oil pan I had a thick 1/4 inch layer of sludge. I took it out and the was NO metal in it and no milky crap. I am thinking its from cheep oil? What do you guys think ?

    Up date on the winter beater

    The rust is touched up and it's finially on the road. The smog test kept saying it wasn't ready but ended up getting the tail pipe test. But it passed. Not much more to come on this one.
