So I found a good tunner local. I have talked to them and they were very happy to answer all my questions and help me with what I was looking to accomplish. It will be a dyno tune and a hp tunners tune from what I understand.

on sunday I changed my working puddle lights to LED. they were working before and when I changed them they stopped working. So I tested the fuses and i didn't find and bad ones. I tested the lights on the bench and they work. I tested the wires and no power... what am i missing?

i am replacing the o-ring for the oil pick up tube and when I took off the oil pan I had a thick 1/4 inch layer of sludge. I took it out and the was NO metal in it and no milky crap.
I am thinking its from cheep oil?

When I take the third break light off on my taho what will go in it's place when I put the Escalade rear glass on ? I didn't see anything on the Escalade when I took it off.
As most of you that frequent this site, I am doing a 6.0 swap. right now it's on an engine stand. I will be changing a few gaskets and cleaning it up before it goes in. I'am not changing cam our anything like that. Just the basics.

I know everyone is using the 5.3 intake on there 6.0. My question is which one should I use ? I was looking at it and it looks like the runners are longer. should i transfer over everything from the 5.3 intake and plug the egr port ?????

the 6.0 came with the dbw throttle body...
The rust is touched up and it's finially on the road. The smog test kept saying it wasn't ready but ended up getting the tail pipe test. But it passed. Not much more to come on this one.
I have a chance to get an cluster out of an 2002 Escalade. the information centre looks different. will the 2002 fit in my 2004 Taho ? and work normal?
