I have a 2wd 2002 Tahoe and I am wondering what is the best replacement shocks to put on without going to extreme price wise.

The ride is so firm that travelling on the highway at 60mph and hitting bumps on curves is horrible.
Ball joints, tie rods, etc are all in great shape.
thanks

What size tires and rims do you have? And what is the condition of the tires?

Do yourself a favor and look at the bump stops. There are a ton of threads on here about them.

Shocks did the trick! Still a bumpy ride but going around curves and hitting a bump at 60-70 mph on the highway isn't a scary experience.
Now to change the bump stops...they are in pieces.
